Throughout day to day I follow EYFS as a guide to development and communication with parents to plan Children’s next steps.
2: How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?
Day to day verbal communication with parents and email. If I feel a child has additional needs discus with parents and gain permission to speak to relevant professionals.
3: How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?
Observations are carried out for each child and linked to the Early years outcomes, Each child has next steps according to observations.
4: What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?
Work with parents to create individual achieveable targets.
5: What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?
I am willing to work with other relevant professionals and RBC Early Years Team.
6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?
I use early years outcomes to observe and create individual next steps.
7: How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?
All activities can be adapted to include all children regardless of individual needs. Outings may need additional assistance to maintain safety.
8: How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?
Wheelchair access available.

I will prepare child for new setting, visit setting with the child and provide transitions reports.
