Reading Jobcentre Plus (JCP)

Job Centre Plus can help with making a new benefit claim, dealing with an existing claim and supporting people back into employment. 

  • training, guidance and work placement programmes; This includes the Work Fit Programme for Lone Parents (the programme aims to improve the fitness, wellbeing and employability of single parents and help them move into employment) in partnership with Adviza in Reading.

  • work experience, volunteering and job trialling schemes

  • help with starting your own business

  • help combining work with looking after children or caring responsibilities

  • extra help for specific problems

  • Disability Advisor available
