Age UK Reading Befriending Service
Our befriending service is continuing. We are in contact with all our befriending clients over the phone and we are reintroducing home visits where appropriate. We are also putting in regular calls to all our usual social clubs clients plus others who have identified as wanting to be called since the crisis arose.
Offering home visiting or telephone calls from Age UK Reading volunteers to elderly, isolated residents within Reading. Providing company and support to vulnerable elderly adults.
