The Children's Activities Association
Did you know that anyone can set up a children's activity without ANY insurance, experience or qualifications?
It's easy to make the assumption there must be proper comprehensive guidelines in place for children's activity providers to follow but that is NOT the case. The Children's Activities Association launched last year and already 180,000 parents attend a CAA activity every week. These parents don't have to worry because they know that their activity teacher is following the CAA Code of Practice and they are working to achieve the CAA independent accreditation.
So next time you go to your class or club MAKE SURE you ask if they are a member of the CAA and if they aren't, ask them why not. Looking for a new activity to enjoy with you little one? Just look for the CAA logo when making your choices and get peace of mind. Don't wait for something to go wrong.
