Family Warm Hub (after school) - West Reading
As a response the anxiety around fuel poverty and rising prices this winter a group of churches in West Reading working together as TORCH have decided to open up the Pavilion on Oxford Road after school 5 days a week to provide a warm place for families to come. The project will start on Monday 28th November and run during term time until Friday 31st March
There will be a light meal, space to play and do homework, company and warmth. Families are welcome to come for part or all of the time.
The building will be open from after school until 6pm each evening.
We can accommodate around 15 families each day.
The project will be run by two project workers and a number of volunteers, all will be DBS checked.
Families can contact us by email or phone, information is on the flyer, or can just come along any day any time after school until 6pm.
Parents or primary carers will be responsible for their own children.
Initially we are wanting to invite families who live in West Reading, east of the railway line although we can be flexible if there is space and need.
