In England, one in three of us live with a health condition and we are twice as likely to be amongst the least physically active.

We want to make it easier for those of us with health conditions to be active and stay active. We are hosting a national conversation for anyone with a passion for empowering and inspiring those of us with health conditions to be active. Together we will explore the opportunities and challenges that exist to make this happen!

We want to involve as many people as possible across England, so from mid March, we will be hosting a national online workshop. Holding en-masse conversations through online workshops will provide a safe space - where everyone can share their ideas, and read, comment and vote on the ideas of others, all anonymously. This means we want you to be as honest as possible about what’s working, what’s not working and how we can improve.

Our ask of you is to sign up by going to and register your email address so we can get in touch with you when the online workshop opens, and keep you updated along the way. Please encourage your colleagues and networks to do the same by sharing this email with them! This is our opportunity to have a voice like never before.

Our promise to you is to listen to what you tell us, communicate with you regularly, clearly and quickly about what we’ve learned from the collective insights you’ve shared, and turn this into guidance that we have co-created.

We need to work together better to improve the interactions people with health conditions have within the sport and physical activity sector.

Together we will empower people with health conditions get active, stay active, and live longer, better quality lives.
