Biscuit themed fun as the Reading Children’s Festival returns
14 May - 5 June
To mark its 33rd birthday, families can look forward to three fun-packed weeks of events and activities across the borough, kicking off with the action-packed Forbury Fiesta on Saturday 14 May.
This year’s theme is a celebration of all things biscuit related as Huntley and Palmers, the world-renowned biscuit makers originally based in Reading, marks its 200-year anniversary.
The festival is now welcoming applications from local groups, charities and business who would like to hold activities, workshops, open days and more across the two-week festival – so please spread the word if you know anyone who would be interested.
Alternatively, if you’d like to have a presence at this year’s Forbury Fiesta launch event, such as a fund fundraising stall or activity on the day, applications can be made here: www.reading.gov.uk/childrensfest
