Home Ownership Opportunities for People with a Disabilities (HOLD)

Introducing the HOLD model

HOLD (Home Ownership for people with Long-term Disabilities) is a unique Government backed shared ownership model that enables individuals with a range of different disabilities to part buy a home of their own, either from the open market or via new developments. The model dates back to 1997 with the first buyer securing their own home in 1999. Since then we’ve helped more than 1,200 others realise their dream of home ownership.
