Better Health: Every Mind Matters - Lift Someone Out of Loneliness

As part of Better Health: Every Mind Matters, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport is launching their next phase of Loneliness campaign activity.

Feeling lonely is something that all of us can experience at any point and it can have a huge impact on our wellbeing. It’s important to remember that these feelings can pass and that there are lots of ways we can help each other too.

This campaign, focussing on those aged 16-34, will encourage people to ‘Lift Someone Out of Loneliness’, through simple, low cost actions to help someone who may be feeling lonely, knowing that this is likely to help them feel less lonely too.

The campaign, which is being supported by Mental Health Ambassador Dr. Alex George, is pointing people towards the Every Mind Matters loneliness webpage, where there is advice for ways to help yourself or others who may be feeling lonely, and suggested support routes.

The England-only campaign is running now until mid-March 2023.
